Directs and Participates in the provision of technical advisory service within the Maintenance Department on all aspects of maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and modification jobs on rotating equipment in the plant and offsite. Reviewing equipment performance to ascertain status, performing reliability/availability analysis and recommending optimum methods to deal with chronic problems.
Provides specialized technical guidance and support in Maintenance Engineering, failure analysis of a wide range of rotating equipment, participation in pilot Reliability Centered Maintenance studies, ensures implementation and utilization of Maximo, review of plant additions from Reliability and maintainability aspect, assume quality assurance role for major tasks or tasks where there are concerns over standards (in coordination with Area Engineer), optimization of maintenance strategies, analysis of all critical equipment failures and recommendations for corrective measures, development and updating of Predictive /Preventive Maintenance programs, implementation of Reliability Improvement program recommendations, major expansion project support, review of design basis and scope prior to detailed Engineering.
The ideal candidate should be a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with specialized qualifications in vibration analysis. Must have minimum of 10 years experience and must possess specialized knowledge in various rotating equipment maintenance, repairs, diagnostics and analysis. Must be a computer literate with good knowledge of English.
